Bessborough School Council has voted to allocate a portion of our fundraising dollars to a less fortunate school so that we can support other children with the same level of thoughtfulness for learning that we are able to give our Bessborough students. ​

 

As determined by a vote at the General Meeting, the Men with Axes event will allocate $5,000 (where the profit allows) to purchase one Empower Reading subscription. According to our Administration and several parents, Empower Reading has been very effective in helping struggling kids reach and surpass grade level. Bessborough runs the program for identified students in Grade 1 to 8.
